Welcome 2012! We are off to a good start. Hollywood Showcase Denver talent have been seen in commercials, television, and films the first 2 months of the year. Ross Lynch is great as Jeff, one of the Worblers on "Glee." The "Michael Jackson Episode" was amazing! Dylan Matzke is remarkable as the lead in "Snowmagedon" on SyFy channel. Megan Barajas was lead on the "Discovery Toy" commercial and Jack Rechter was lead in the Sony Tablet, and Build-a-Bear commercials. Tekola Cornetet won "Best Headshot" on the Children in Film website. Way yea!! It is wonderful to see progress in their careers as well as many others!
There are three Showcases planned for 2012. The first Hollywood Showcase Denver will be on February 19th, Sunday, 9a - 4:30p. There are 7 girls and 7 boys who will audition for Melissa Berger, Theatrical and Voice Over talent agent. Melissa is with one of the top 10 Talent Agencies in Los Angeles, CESD. Nelson Parks will return as guest talent manager. He is owner of theESI Network in LA. Some of these young people will be headed to LA to audition for the current pilot season.
The second Hollywood Showcase Denver is planned for June 24, 2012. Class sessions to prepare for this Showcase will begin Saturday March 3 and Wednesday, March 7th. Go to the "Audition Notice" page to learn more details.
The third Hollywood Showcase Denver is planned for November 4, 2012. Class sessions will begin Wednesday August 01, and Saturday August 04. Watch the HSD website www.hollywoodshowcasedenver.com for audition information.
