Welcome to the Hollywood Showcase Denver website.  This new year 2011, has brought wonderful jobs in the film and television industry for many young HSD talents in Denver and Los Angeles. Congratulations to Ross Lynch, one of the R5 Rock band.  Ross will play the lead, Austin, in the new Disney series “Austin and Ally!”  Good for you Ross!! That is outstanding news!

The next Hollywood Showcase Denver will be Sunday, October 16, 2011. Nelson Parks, owner of the ESI Network is guest  talent manager, and Jennifer Boyce is guest commercial talent agent from Savage Agency, LA.

Auditions for the following Hollywood Showcase Denver (HSD) are being held now.  The Showcase will be February 12, 2012.  Please see the Audition Notice page for details and audition appointments.

This fall Su Coffey will offer development classes in Advanced Film Study.  These sessions meet on Wednesday’s from 4:30p – 7:30p.  Advanced Film Study will begin October 5, and continue on the following Wednesday; October 12 and 19, and November 02, 09 and 16.

These Advanced sessions will study “The Ego and The Alter Ego.”  The objective is to gain a strong awareness of “self.”  This will be used for audition choices, and on set.  Sides, scripts, commercials and improvisation exercises will taped and reviewed during playback at the end of each session.
